Quick & Reliable Predictions
Stage 14 Breakdown:
Stage 14 bring the riders into the Pyrenees with a 152km journey from Pau to Saint-Lary-Soulan. Two HC categories and one 2nd category mountains face the riders including the iconic Col du Tourmalet. The climb is 19km with an average gradient of 7.4% before reaching the summit at an elevation of 2115m. Next up is Hourquette d’Ancizan, with 8.2km of 5.1%. The final climb of the day is 10.6km of 7.9% up to the finish line at Pla d’Adet.
There will likely be a big interest for a breakaway, chasing the points for polkadot jersey and the stage win. If a group of strong enough climbers get away, they might have a chance. Though if the GC riders battle it out, we can’t rule out the chance that the stage win will yet again be handed to the likes of Pogacar or Vingegaard.
Favorites:
| +++ | Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard
| ++ | Richard Carapaz, Simon Yates, Remco Evenepoel
| + | Giulio Ciccone, Tom Pidcock, Ben Healy
TourManager:
