Stage 6

Stage 6 Breakdown:

Stage 6 take the riders on a completely flat 163km trip from Mâcon to Dijon. Only one 4th category climb face the riders, and its a short 1.6km hill at beginning of the stage. A fairly short stage without too many challenges should provide the riders with a relatively easy day on the road followed by a bunch sprint from the peloton.

The final couple kilometres take place within the city of Dijon. The last 1.5km is heading straight towards the line, only disrupted by a roundabout with about 800m to go. The vertical profile of the sprint is virtually flat with no significant elevation changes. The positioning for the final roundabout can be important, but other than that it should be a fairly straight forward sprint, with the fastest rider destined to win.

Favorites:
| +++ | Jasper Philipsen, Mark Cavendish, Arnaud de Lie
| ++ | Dylan Groenewegen, Biniam Girmay, Alexander Kristoff
| + | Mads Pedersen, Fabio Jakobsen, Sam Bennett

TourManager:
