Stage 3

Stage 3 Breakdown:

Stage 3 bring the riders on a mostly flat 178km trip from Valenciennes to Dunkerque. Outside of the chances of coastal crosswinds, the stage will in all likelihood end up as a bunch sprint. One 4th category climb face the riders, but this is completed with 31km still to go.

The destination town Dunkerque is located on the most northwestern part of France close to the belgian border, and is most famous for the operational retreat of 300 000 allied soldiers in the beginning of World War 2.

The final kilometres take place within the city of Dunkerque, following the Canal de Bergues. They pass a roundabout with about 400m to go followed by a slight bend toward the finish, making for an interesting finale.

Favorites:
| +++ | Tim Merlier, Jasper Philipsen, Jonathan Milan

| + | Wout van Aert, Danny van Poppel

TourManager:
Etappe 3 er en ny flat etappe fra Valenciennes til Dunkerque. Mange av de samme favorittene fra Etappe 1, så det anbefales å spare byttene og ikke gjøre noen store endringer.
