Quick & Reliable Predictions
Stage 3 Breakdown:
Stage 3 bring the riders on a flat but long 230km trip from Plaisance to Turin. It’s the first flat stage of the tour, providing the pure sprinters an opportunity to fight for a stage win. Jasper Philipsen will be looking to continue his strong form from last year’s Tour where he gathered no less than 4 stage wins. With his strong leadout team at Alpecin-Deceuninck and Mathieu v.d. Poel still present, he will be the rider to beat going into the sprint stages.
Despite being a flat stage, the riders still face 1100m of elevation gains over the course of 230km, so it’s far from a stroll. Three categorized climbs of the 4th category is included, although with almost 50km remaining after the last climb, there is still plenty of time for the sprinters to regroup and recover before the finale.
Favorites:
| +++ | Jasper Philipsen, Dylan Groenewegen
| ++ | Arnaud de Lie, Wout van Aert, Mads Pedersen
| + | Fabio Jakobsen, Mark Cavendish
Tour Manager:
Poel i opptrekkstoget sitt.
