Stage 19

Stage 19 Breakdown:

Stage 19 take the riders on a short but mountainous 130km journey from Albertville to La Plagne. There are 5 categorized climbs, including two HC climbs, totalling 4550m in elevation gain. The first HC climb up Col du Prè has a length of 12.6km with an average gradient of 7.7%. From there they continue up the 2nd category climb Cormet de Roselend, located at an elevation of 1968m with about 50km to go. Then they make a long decent down to the start of the final climb.

The final climb up to the finish line at La Plagne is 19.1km with a gradient of 7.2%. This is the final mountain stage of the Tour and likely the last chance for the climbers to fight for a stage win. Its also the last stage where large amounts of KOM points will be distributed, meaning that the Polkadot jersey might be decided here. Breakaway or Pogacar?

TourManager:

– Felix Gall (Kaptein)
– Sepp Kuss (Hjelperytter)
– Michael Storer (Klatrer)
